What is BK’s Takeaway?
BK’s Takeaway is a retail food outlet specialising in hot and tasty ready to go food. Traditional Australian fare – hamburgers, dim sims, potato cakes, fish and chips, sandwiches, drinks, coffee and lots more. It’s the home of the Brendan Burger – the biggest burger in Gippsland. 
 
Our customers appreciate our variety of high quality products, great specials and affordable prices, so they come back time after time. We see many of them every day. Currently we are expanding and developing our brand to create exciting retail food franchise opportunities.
 
National Expansion
Brendan Kingwill launched the first BK’s Takeaway on the 11th of October 1999 in Trafalgar in Gippsland in Victoria. From a humbled beginning BK’s has become one of the best known and loved takeaway food outlets in Gippsland. BK’s is well known for its large ready to go hot food selection, its unusual and unique promotions and huge food variety. BK's second store pened in warragul recently.

What is the cost of a BK’s Takeaway?
Your initial investment to join BK’s Takeaway for a franchise is in the range of $180,000 to $250000 plus GST. This includes your equipment package, your exclusive territory with a five year term and four further five year franchise options. This package includes:
Your Franchise Fee
Your Training Fee  inc. on the job training.
Legal and Documentation Fee, and recruitment costs
Initial start up kit inc. Stationery, Uniforms, etc.
All Franchise operating manuals.
Opening Stock and supply items 
Your local marketing launch cost 
Shop fitting works on your store and Fitout supervision costs subject to the size, location and existing fittings in your new shop.         
 NB all figures are plus GST.
 
Full details of all costs will be provided to you later in the information sharing process in a detailed information document. You may also need to allow for work needing to be done on your premises subject to the condition of the premises you choose to lease.
